I was having a debate with a friend and I want to see what you all think about it.

He said that to produce music properly, you need three screens to do everything without having to click back and forth or look through things.

I said that is more for gamers and streamers and music producers in their homes only need 2, some don't even need two. They will have 1 and have a laptop with it.

I never heard of this being an issue ever. A lot of people only use one screen actually. Just look on YouTube. If you have the money two is better than one but three is just overkill.

Yeah dude it don't matter. It is all down to preference.

For some dudes, having 1 is enough but others may do better having 2 or 3 monitors. If it makes you a better producer, that is all that matters.

I see mostly gamers and podcasters using 2 or 3 monitors, hardly ever someone working with music. I will see the typical desktop and laptop on the desk.
