This is a nice upbeat slow jam. Very relaxing and reminds me of the late 90's and early 2000's.

Very good on the ears and she has a soft beautiful voice in this.

Buddy goes well with the beat too and matches her voice nicely. I miss simple R&B like this. Takes me back. I hope this means this is on the rise again.

Who knows but if more and more people keep on it, I can see a slip back into the best hip hop period which to me would be 1995 to 2005.

Not too familiar with Buddy or Shay but I can dig the song. It has a nice slow jam feel to it. Going to see if my girl likes it.

It does have that 90's vibe to it for sure. I like it a lot. I am not too familiar with her work so I am going to check out some more tracks. Might be someone I can get into.

If you like a lot of the women from the late 90's and early 2000's... Brandy, Aaliyah, ect. you'll dig her work for sure.

Yeah man I can actually hear a bit of them in her music now that you mention it. I bet that is where her inspiration comes from.

I would say 1993 to 2003 myself. Rap started to shift in 2004 and by the time 2010 rolled around, most of the kind of music I enjoyed was phased out.

I believe it was Nas that said rap was dead in 2009 and it was his way of saying that true talent, real authentic rap was completely phased out of the mainstream industry. I have a hard time disagreeing with him on that.

I checked out some more and for sure! I loved those women. They were independent and made amazing music.
