Anxiety since my diagnoses...

So I was diagnosed earlier this year, back in March, and since then I have been having issues with anxiety. It has gotten so bad that I ended up not returning to my job after the lockdown was lifted in my state. I am currently applying for disability via social security as I don't know how I will make ends meet without income. My doctor assured me that I qualify for it so that is less stress on my plate but this anxiety has been frustrating.

Re: Anxiety since my diagnoses...

This is a normal reaction. You are scared. You are bound to worry and be nervous. A lot of people develop anxiety disorders after a bad diagnosis but they eventually come to terms with things and it does go away.
